Catalog of Women' Research at UNIRC
This “Catalog of Women’ Research at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria” has been realized as one of the actions of the “Gender Equality in Engineering through Communication and Commitment” (GEECCO) project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program (Grant Agreement No 741128) for the four year period 2017-2021.
This document, prepared by the local unit of GEECCO, has the only purpose of representing to the scientific community, both within and outside the Mediterranea, the most recent fields of scientific interest of the academic women of the Mediterranea in the three-year period 2017-2019, in the hope of contributing to their increasing involvement in groups and projects of research. This is the reason for which the collocation of the research products (e.g., journal, proceedings or other type of scientific collocation) is not reported, not wishing that this catalog could assume the role of an instrument of comparison and evaluation of the quality of research. The final part of this catalog has been dedicated to PhD students, currently in progress, also as an encouragement to the continuation of their studies.
The catalog has been realized using only the data stored in the public IRIS database (https://iris.unirc.it) and the lists of academic staff and PhD students available on the sites of the departments of the Mediterranea.
